Maxim’s Group sas was born with the intention of resuming the historic accordion brands that made history in Castelfidardo and around the world.
In 2006 the company registered the name Settimio Soprani, a historical brand known throughout the world. The project was born with the reconstruction of an accordion model (ARTIST VI) that is still recognized today as one of the best accordions in the world in the last 150 years of history. After the first prototypes, today we are building this model that we export all over the world: America, China, Korea, Brazil and all of Europe. Thanks to this model, known to all accordionists and importers, we have accepted exclusive contracts in Europe. It is under the Settimio Soprani brand, in 2008 we acquired the SONOLA brand, a well-known accordion brand from Castelfidardo and well known in the USA. We started our research focusing especially on certain models that became famous in the USA; after several years of production we were able to catch the attention of the largest importer of musical instruments in the United States of America. In fact, for years we have had an exclusive contract that was requested by this importer and we are working at full speed in the production of the SONOLA brand.
Today we are also entering the Chinese market (where we were already present with the Settimio Soprani brand) by presenting models exclusively for conservatives. Thanks to our distributor in China, we believe that in a couple of years we will be able to start a good production for the Chinese market even with this brand: in this way we could increase our production by supplying the two brands and not only Settimio Soprani.
In 2009 we succeed in completing our acquisition of the most interesting brands for our accordion marketing: CRUCIANELLI and FRONTALINI. Our initial project needed these two brands that are known by everyone in the world of accordions in order to arrive in some markets where we were not present. In fact the CRUCIANELLI brand was in the past the first brand in Castelfidardo in the export of accordions in France and in the markets of northern Europe. We have been marketing some models for two years that have immediately attracted interest in these markets: thanks to this brand we have been able to get contacts from these new countries and we have been able to do samples. We are at the beginning of a journey that will bring us satisfaction, as happened with the Settimio Soprani and Sonola brands.
The Frontalini brand was necessary in order to be able to present accordions exclusively for schools, smaller accordions and therefore at low cost. Historic brand of Numana, the Frontalini brand was in the 50s the brand with the largest number of exports in the world. We have already received some orders from Italian, Chinese and European masters, and our intention is to be able to enter schools all over the world thanks to a quality made in Italy and at a reasonable price. Subsequently we could present our professional models with the brand Settimio Soprani and Sonola, brands that we have destined exclusively to more experienced players and professionals. In addition to this we started a production with the Frontalini brand for the Austrian market: in particular, a series of instruments that are played only in Austria and the Tyrol.
Today, Maxim’s Group sas is the owner of Settimio Soprani, Sonola, Frontalini and Crucianelli, registered in Italy, Europe, the United States of America and China. In recent years we have developed technical projects for improving the sound of the accordion and for improving the instrument. In the last 5 years, Maxim’s Group sas has deposited and registered 5 different patents: some of them are 100% owners, while others have been registered with other partners in the sector that have contributed to the development.
